SARIGÖL SULTANA GRAPES

     Sarıgöl (grassy) plain is a district famous for its seedless SULTANA for dinner tables.From grape vineyard that is made on 73 seventy tree thousand area , the harvest in 2006 was approximately 230 thousand tones as wet.Grapes as wet not only consumed in country but also some piece of them have been exported to foreign countries such as A.B.D,  Russian, and Arabia.And also Sultani grapes can be beneficial by making molasses and prape pulp in the winter.

 

GRAPE  FESTİVAL

     Every September in Sarıgöl, garape festival is held.This year it will be held third times so far it has done.Festival in which,  many people take part have chances to present their grape also to offer other local products.It seems that beside local people, foreign visitors also give great contribution to the introduction of the region.

 

GRAPE AND BENEFİTS

     In garpe products, there are some minerals such as iron,calcium and potassium.Those are curable effects not only growing bones, bot also anemia, weakness, lack of strength and diarrhea, phosphorescent acid, organic acid and formica acid.

Grape meets your daily 1/5 calcium, and 1/3 iron need.Minerals cure; weakness, anemia, diarrhea and thinnes.Also it is good at healing cough and bronchitis.

Grape apart from being food, used in medicine to heal illness as a vegetable.For instance; when you wash your hairs with grape water, 2-3 times your hairs grow more quickly than ever.Also it is good remedy for gorgetfulness.  

 

OUR COUNTRY AND GRAPE

      Seedless dry grape is important in term of both our country and the Aegean  Region prviding over 57 000 employment.during its production and inner and outer marketting it has ecnomical benefit in region  to local people and other foundations.Therefore, from 1963/64 years to now except for 1962/63 years it is supervised by Goverment Supporting  Guarentee.According to the  Agriculture and Selling Cooperative  and Unity;  grape is assigned as  Agriculture Selling  Cooperative and Unity Supporting Organ.Nowadays ıt has sometimes undertaken  its task.

 

SITUATION OF PRODUCTS AROUND THE WORLD

   In general vineyard is done between 20-52 latitude degree in Northern Hemishphere and  20-40 in the  Southern Hemisphere.Heat is the most important effect on extending the vineyard towards northern.The harvest of seedles dry grape has been done between August and September in Northern countries and March and April in southern countries.

From the point of view of countries, between the  20-52  north and 20-40 south latitude such as A.B.D, Chile, South Africa, Australia, Turkey, Greece, Iran, Afghanistan are of the important seedless dry grape producer countries.

 As of Turkey after harvest evaluation results; it is stated that in the Aegean Region especially with Manisa province and its district  also partly Çal district  of Denizli province approximately 761.310 decares vineyard has been done.

In the Aegean Region largely the kinf of ‘sultani’grape has been grown.This kind of grape is usually the sort of improved one.As  regards of superior quality; and ornamenting the tables lavishly it had been appropriate for Sultans for years.

 

GRAPE MOLASSES

      In terms of food content and benefits for human healty molasses as well as grape has a good source of carbohydrate and energy since high content of sugar. It is rich in minerals.Molasses especially meets your daily calcium, iron, potassium and magnesium needs.Because of the high amount of mineral and high rate of absorprion content it is suggested for pregnants, sucking pacifier, person in the healing period and suffering from tuberculosis to take part in their diets

One of the best source of  mineral molasses content is chrome.Content of chrome in our body tissues declines during pregnancy, malnutrition and getting older.
